Yellow Arras Chairs

Three stunning Arras chairs in their original yellow finish.

Arras garden furniture is now as popular, as it was in the mid 19th century when the privileged classes discovered the benefits of outdoor living. The term "Arras" refers to garden furniture produced in the eponymous French region between 1840 and 1920, from semi-hollow steel tubing known as "fer elegi".

These smart chairs have lions claw feet which date them between 1850 and 1890. This elegant and collectible trio would look as wonderful on the inside as they would outside perhaps forming part of a mixed set of dining chairs.
