Folding Arras Chairs
A pair of folding Arras chairs with an attractive patina. Arras garden furniture is extremely popular, and has been since the mid 19th century, when people discovered the benefits of outdoor living.
The name "Arras" now refers to garden furniture produced in the eponymous French region between 1840 and 1920, which is made from semi-hollow steel tubing.
This handily-folding pair date from the early 20th century when Arras tried to modernise their range. Simple and elegant, they would look excellent on a small patio or balcony, with the added advantage of being neat to store away.
