Arras 'Demi-Lune' Plant Stand
A really good example of a 19th century Arras half round plant stand.
The term "Arras" refers to garden furniture produced in the eponymous French region between 1840 and 1920, from semi-hollow steel tubing known as "fer elegi".
This smart looking stand in its original metal finish would look as good as an interior display item as it would in a garden. The great thing about these plant stands is that they allow the owner to design a mix of colour from spring to autumn in an easy to maintain and orderly way.
French, circa 1890.
