1. Antique Garden Furniture

19th century Reclining Chair

With the French discovering outdoor living well before the British, this lovely mid-19th-century recliner is a rare example of early mechanical design and comfort. Everything is original and working including the gearing of the relining mechanism which cleverly slips into place with the weight of the user. A fun, characterful and interesting piece.
